PSG End Ligue 1 Season with Shock Defeat to Paris FC
Paris Saint-Germain closed their 2025–26 Ligue 1 campaign with a disappointing 2-1 defeat away to Paris FC in the final round of the season.
Despite already securing the league title, PSG failed to finish the season on a winning note in a match filled with intensity and late drama.
The visitors struck first early in the second half through Bradley Barcola, who gave PSG the lead in the 49th minute after a fast attacking move. However, Paris FC responded strongly and gradually took control of the game.
The turning point came in the 75th minute when Alimami Gory equalized for the home side, sending the crowd into celebration. Deep into stoppage time, Gory completed the comeback with a dramatic winning goal in the 93rd minute to secure a memorable victory for Paris FC.
Although the defeat had no impact on the title race, it exposed some defensive weaknesses for PSG ahead of their upcoming European challenges. The Parisian giants still finished the season at the top of the Ligue 1 table with 76 points, while Paris FC climbed to 11th place with 44 points.
The result also raised fresh concerns around PSG’s recent form, especially with growing attention surrounding the fitness of key players before major upcoming fixtures.
