The latest report released by the Football Observatory “CIES” has reshaped the landscape of player market values, unveiling its ranking of the 100 most valuable footballers in the world based on an advanced statistical model. At the top of the list stands Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal.

Yamal Leads the World at a Record Value

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has claimed first place with a staggering estimated market value of €343 million. His rise continues to underline his status as one of the most exceptional talents in world football, combining elite technical impact with massive economic potential despite his young age.

Haaland and Mbappé in Pursuit

In second place is Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, valued at €255 million, driven by his extraordinary goal-scoring consistency in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid superstar, ranks third with a value of €201 million. Despite maintaining his status as one of the sport’s global icons, he slightly trails younger competitors in valuation metrics.

Bellingham Drops as New Stars Rise

England international Jude Bellingham, last year’s leader, has dropped to fourth place with a valuation of €153 million. He is followed by Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise (€137 million) and Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz (€136 million).

The top ten also features several rising stars, including Paris Saint-Germain duo Désiré Doué and João Neves, alongside Turkey’s Arda Güler and Spain’s Pedri González.

Goalkeepers, Defenders, and Stars Outside Europe’s Big Leagues

Outside Europe’s top five leagues, Brazil’s Vitor Roque, currently at Palmeiras, leads with a valuation of €85 million. Italy’s Gianluigi Donnarumma tops the goalkeeper rankings at €81 million. Meanwhile, Spain’s Pau Cubarsí is recognized as the world’s most valuable defender at €110 million, and Nico O’Reilly leads among full-backs with a valuation of €90 million.

The rankings highlight a clear shift in world football toward a younger generation of elite talents who are not only shaping the game on the pitch but also redefining its economic landscape on a global scale.
